MOT Inspection Manual: HGV

The latest version of the HGV Inspection Manual has been updated with changes relating to section 26 for Speedometer/Tachograph, and section 33 for Speed Limiter.

 

The manual contains inspection processes and rules for lorry, trailer and other HGV tests is used by everyone who takes part in HGV examinations and maintenance and explains:

• acceptable reasons for failure
• application of specific relevant requirements
• procedures and standards used during testing
