Covid Testing for HGV Drivers using services via Kent

HGV drivers heading to the Port of Dover are strongly advised to have a negative Covid test before traveling to Kent.  Evidence of an authorised Covid test undertaken within 72 hours of departure is a mandatory requirement of UK and French governments.

 

To travel to Kent drivers must have a Kent Access Permit (KAP), which is applied for on line. Drivers holding the KAP using Eurotunnel and Dover will be fast tracked if they have been tested and have a negative result before arriving in Kent.  Drivers with a positive result will provide further details at the time and will receive advice.
